In the US and Canada, a Prom is a very special occasion in the life of High School students. It usually consists of a formal dance or gathering of students, followed by an after-Prom. Normally, it is held at the end of a Senior year, but some schools hold the event for Juniors as well. When it comes to attire, boys dress in formal wear, which consists of suits, combined with colored vests and ties. Girls wear long evening dresses and style their hair.

To begin the Prom dates usually gather at either one’s home. At this time, photographs are taken. Afterwards, attendees leave for the Prom venue. It is typical to hire a limousine for this purpose. Once attendees are gathered at the venue, a dinner may be served, followed by the dance itself. After the event, there is usually an after-Prom.

As you already know, the whole process requires lots of careful planning and preparations. Major details, such as the venue, the music and the food are addressed by Prom committees. However, there are many other factors that individuals need to work on, in order to make the whole event more memorable. These include personal attire, transportation and photography.  Of course, it is smart to plan all of this in advance in order to find that perfect dress, a clean and reliable limousine as well as an experienced photographer at affordable rates.
